Joann Paine
I started my spiritual journey over 20 years ago, after my father became terminally ill. During his long sickness and suffering, my dad was really worried about dying. Through my spiritual practice, this helped relive his and my worries. My Dad helped me find light in everything we faced.
It was at this point i learned on a very profound level that spiritual healing is life changing, it can help you with life and death.
Since this experience, i feel i have grown so much as a person and have been able to help others around me with sound healing.
It was for these reasons, i am so excited to be starting this Sound Healing School. Offering Sound Therapy Diplomas and Spiritual workshops.
My dear friend Nicky and i feel we have a strong calling to create a safe and caring environment, for anyone who wishes to learn all about the magic of life and the benefits of learning sound healing.
I believe that Sound healing is truly magical, and i look forward to spending time sharing precious moments with anyone, who also has the calling for Sound Healing.
My Qualifications are:
Sound Therapy Diploma.
Gong Practitioner.
Reiki 1 and 2.
Psychic and Medium Guide.
I am currently training in "shamanism and spirituality in therapeutic practice". So hope to bring some more spiritual courses in the coming year.

Nicky Akal
After I left school I studied teaching and early years education. I have always enjoyed working in a school environment. I took a break from schools and had a small nursery from home when I started raising my family.
I have always loved the idea of the human body often being able to heal itself with the right support.
About 30 years ago I began a journey with a homeopath which helped my body heal from eczema. This led me to do a course on reflexology and the chakra system. Then more recently my reiki one, igniting my interest in using sound frequency as a healing tool. A person very close to me began suffering from mental health issues, during this trying time I found the sound healing and use of the singing bowls was very therapeutic and helped with relaxation during periods of their anxiety.
The sound baths and gong baths I attend not only assist me in being more connected to myself spiritually but also help me with self care and my own wellbeing. This in turn has guided me in being a better sound therapist and mother.
This is why becoming a sound therapist has been extremely rewarding to me personally as i enjoy seeing my client’s experience the same benefits.
I love doing sound baths with Jo, we work well together and have fun doing what we are both passionate about.
I feel very called to open a sound healing school as I will be merging two things I am enthusiastic about, teaching and healing.
I am currently studying a 13 month apprenticeship course in Shamanic Way of the Womb. I hope to incorporate my own experiences and knowledge into the Tree of Life School with Jo.
